We love board books in our house! Even though our youngest is quickly approaching age 3, we still read them a lot. And the younger boys love to be able to hold and “read” a book on their own! So when I received a chance to review a board book that also had a great message, I jumped at the opportunity.
Rufus and Ryan Go to Church! is a sweet board book about a little boy named Ryan and his little monkey friend Rufus. The book takes you through a day of church with these two characters. This would be a great book to take with you to church if your children attend worship with you! The illustrations are so cute too!
The publisher has been gracious enough to include a list of 10 tips to help introduce your children to worship.
We are currently in the process of training our youngest two children to sit with us through worship. Books and resources like these are so helpful to us as we do this! Even though our church has special classes for children, our young kids have never been fond of being separated from Mom and Dad:) Maybe if we can have them bring a sweet friend like Rufus to church, it will help them get through the service!
How about your family? Do you all worship together or does your church hold separate classes for different ages?
Now for the great news…how would you like to win a FREE copy of Rufus and Ryan Go to Church!? Christmas is coming up fast and this would make a great gift for a young child in your family. Just enter using the link below!
